WHAT EXACTLY IS AN AI MARATHON?

An AI Marathon is a browser-based, gamified solution-development sprint. Teams move through a sequence of city "spots," each built around a real conversation with AI — guided by field-expert personas and a human mentor — that builds step by step toward one real output by the end of the event.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM A TYPICAL AI TRAINING WORKSHOP?

Most AI training is a multiple-choice quiz on tool familiarity. An AI Marathon treats the finished, working solution as the assessment itself — participants are measured by what they build, not by a skill score. Conversation is the curriculum, and the output is the proof.

DO TRAINERS OR TEACHERS GET REPLACED BY AI IN THIS FORMAT?

No — they're promoted. The format runs on a three-way conversation between AI, the human mentor, and the learner. The mentor's role shifts from information source to guide, keeping the AI conversation grounded in your organization's real context.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CUSTOMIZE FOR OUR ORGANIZATION?

3 to 7 days. You fill out a short Marathon Customization Form, and the visuals, characters, field experts, prompts, and case studies are rebuilt around your organization's specific content — entirely online, with no in-person coordination required.

WHAT DOES A TEAM ACTUALLY WALK AWAY WITH?

A real, tangible solution to a real organizational problem — not a certificate or a quiz score. The marathon is built around workflow transformation, so what teams produce is meant to be usable, not just demonstrative.

WHAT EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE DO PARTICIPANTS NEED?

Just a browser. The entire campus and marathon run natively in-browser with no installs, making it accessible on any device your participants already have.

DOES THIS HAVE TO BE A MULTI-DAY PROGRAM?

No — duration is fully flexible, from a focused 45-to-60-minute sprint session up to a multi-day advanced format, depending on what fits your organization's schedule and goals.
